WORSHIP SERVICE: SUNDAYS AT 11:00 AM
At Rock of Ages Alliance Church, we are striving to be a leading worship center for the Lower Allegheny Valley in western Pennsylvania. In today’s world, there are many of us who seek meaningful relationships, a way to soften and open their hearts, and a path to connect with Jesus Christ. We wholeheartedly welcome members of this community to join us in song, service, worship and prayer.
In addition to worship and prayer, we participate in various outreach programs and ministries. We have also started a Sunday school program that provides Bible-based education for children.

Favorite scripture verse:
I really don't have one faded verse. The verse that I need to pay regular attention to is: "And He was saying to them all, 'If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.'" Luke 9:23
There’s always something going on at Rock of Ages!

UPDATE: THANK YOU TO ALL WHO ATTENDED THIS COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENT!
The Rock of Ages Church is a Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. As a church we feel it is important to not only support local ministries, but also to support Missionaries as they go out into the world to teach others. With our prayers and financial giving, we help them in their efforts to lead people into a relationship with Jesus, make disciples, and spread the Gospel.
See photos from some of our missionary trips in the Gallery.
Our Church partners with the Lower Valley Community Food Bank. Each month the food bank suggests a different item in need to be collected. We as a congregation bring in the items needed and place them in the bin under the coat rack near the entrance to the Sanctuary. This community help is one way we can share our love with our neighbors while meeting a few of their physical needs.
2019 Designated Items List
July: peanut butter
September: side dish
ANGEL TREE MINISTRIES
Angel Tree Ministries is a program that connects parents in prison with their children through the delivery of a Christmas gift and the Gospel. Members of our congregation volunteer to purchase and/or deliver a gift on behalf of the incarcerated parent. This is a way to recognize and care for some of the most overlooked members of our community.
TRY LIFE CENTER BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN
Try Life is a faith-based, life-affirming, pregnancy and family resource center dedicated to promoting the life of the unborn child, and the physical well-being of their parents and families, through confidential counseling, education, and material support. Congregants wishing to participate receive a baby bottle to collect donations.
PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
The prayer shawls are meant to be a reflection of God's care and love. While making the prayer shawls, the volunteers pray that the recipient will be blessed as they are wrapped in the security of God's love, and that they will be comforted as they face difficult times. The prayer shawls are given freely to those in need and can be found in the front of the church on the altar.
ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN & MISSIONARY ALLIANCE
The U.S. Alliance is part of a Christ-centered global movement more than 6 million strong. Our Acts 1:8 family — inspired by Jesus’ love and empowered by His Spirit—is passionate to bring the good news about Him to our neighborhoods and world.
The Alliance Stand
What the Alliance believes about God, how He relates to us, and how we relate to Him is foundational in its teachings. The Alliance wholeheartedly serves God and the people of His world, based soundly on the Bible. We live and die by these words and believe they bring the only life worth living—one wholly committed to the King Jesus.
Our Statement of Faith
A. There is ONE GOD, (1) who is infinitely perfect, (2) existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (3)
B. JESUS CHRIST is the true God and the true man. (4) He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. (5) He died upon the cross, the Just for the unjust, (6) as a substitutionary sacrifice, (7) and all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood. (8) He arose from the dead according to the Scriptures. (9) He is now at the right hand of Majesty on high as our great High Priest. (10) He will come again to establish His kingdom, righteousness, and peace. (11)
C. THE HOLY SPIRIT is a divine person, (12) sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer, (13) and convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. (14)
D. The OLD AND NEW TESTAMENTS, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They consitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice. (15)
E. MAN was originally created in the image and likeness of God: (16) he fell through disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, (17) are separated from the life of God, and can be saved only through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ. (18) The portion of the unrepentant and unbelieving is existence forever in conscious torment; (19) and that of the believer, in everlasting joy and bliss. (20)
F. SALVATION has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men; and those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God. (21)
G. It is the will of God that each believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be SANCTIFIED wholly, (22) being separated from sin and the world and fully dedicated to the will of God, thereby receiving power for holy living and effective service. (23) This is both a crisis and a progressive experience wrought in the life of the believer subsequent to conversion. (24)
H. Provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the HEALING of the mortal body. (25) Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the Church in this present age. (26)
I. THE CHURCH consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, (27) which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all nations. (28) The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper. (29)
J. There shall be a BODILY RESURRECTION of the just and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto life; (30) for the latter, a resurrection unto judgment. (31)
K. THE SECOND COMING of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent (32) and will be personal, visible, and premillennial. (33) This is the believer's blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive to holy living and faithful service. (34)
